Reflecting on a milestone event from our history.

In May 2008, a large-scale demonstration of maritime life-saving equipment was held at the Varna Passenger Terminal, organized by SENY Ltd. in collaboration with the official distributors of Lalizas equipment – Lalizas Marine BG / Morski Magazin Seny Ltd. The demonstration was part of a campaign to present the latest requirements of international maritime safety standards (SOLAS/MED).
The maritime community gathered in one place – the event brought together experts and enthusiasts at the Varna Port area, attracting significant media attention and receiving a personal visit from the Mayor of Varna.

Key Highlights of the Demonstration:

•  Life Raft Activation: The automatic inflation and functionality of Lalizas life rafts were demonstrated live in front of the public.
•  Personal Protective Equipment: Real-world testing of life jackets, immersion suits, and light signals took place within the port’s waters.
•  Pyrotechnics: The use of hand flares and smoke signals was showcased to demonstrate effective ways of attracting attention during a distress situation at sea.
