Thorseal

Thorseal is a molded, polymer U-packing uniquely designed for hydraulic and pneumatic applications. Thorseal lip seals are formulated from a tough, high strength polymer impregnated with internal lubricants available in standard and custom sizes up to 100" (2.5m). Thorseals are designed to suit either piston or gland mounted applications operating in a temperature range of -50°C to 90°C (-60°F to 195°F).

• high performance elastomer hydraulic lip (cup) seal
• highly abrasion resistant - also used as a seal to exclude abrasives from limited motion bearings
• suitable for pressures from 0 to 100.0 MPa (0 - 15,000 psi)
• recommended for reciprocating linear or limited motion rotary applications
• very tough - cut and tear resistant
• low friction - self-lubricating
• available in single lip or stacked ThorPak ("chevron" style)
